Anthony P. Strazza III
With over four decades of dedicated public service, Anthony Strazza has served as a Connecticut State Building Official for 46 years, holding Connecticut License #428. His expertise spans the full breadth of Connecticut State Building Codes, making him a respected authority in the field of construction standards, safety, and regulatory compliance across the state.
Recognized nationally for his deep code knowledge and leadership, Anthony earned the prestigious designation of Master Code Professional in 2000—a title he has proudly held to the present day (License #156). His commitment to upholding the highest standards in building safety and code enforcement has shaped municipal infrastructure and policy throughout his career.
From 1992 to 1996, he served as the Chief Zoning Officer for the City of Stamford, where he was instrumental in interpreting and applying zoning regulations during a period of significant urban development. He then advanced to become the Chief Building Official for the City of Stamford from 1996 to 2006, overseeing all aspects of code enforcement, permitting, inspections, and compliance for one of Connecticut's most dynamic cities.
In 2007, he founded Strazza & Associate (previously Strazza Consulting), a firm specializing in building code consulting services. Through Strazza & Associate, Anthony continues to advise architects, developers, attorneys, and municipalities on complex code matters, plan reviews, zoning issues, and regulatory strategies.

Lisa has been an integral part of Strazza & Associate since 2015, bringing a strong, solutions-oriented approach to the complex world of building and zoning compliance. Over the years, Lisa has built trusted professional relationships with Building and Zoning Officials in Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, New Canaan, and Norwalk, facilitating smoother permitting processes and clear communication between stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
Lisa works directly with property owners, contractors, business owners, architects, and engineers, guiding projects through the intricate landscape of municipal permitting and approvals. Her hands-on experience and deep understanding of local government operations make her a valuable liaison throughout all stages of the development process.
Known for her diligence, responsiveness, and professionalism, Lisa is highly regarded for her ability to navigate documentation and accelerate progress through multiple governmental agencies.
